NWRA52F.COM - Hyde's Fiction
The above Internet site contains false, misleading, and defamatory content from a variety of sources. If confused by its claims, please check the facts carefully. We will not waste resources debunking every claim made since doing so would never end. The fiction-fact comparisons below reveal the actual nature of these claims.
Fiction 1: Property owners can rescind their vote or vote "no" to reverse what has already happened.
Fact: You cannot re-vote or rescind your vote. Elections are over. More than the required majority of property owners have spoken in favor of the proposal to fix our airport and return it to a safe, enjoyable, and sustainable aviation community. To change what we’ve accomplished would require going through the same process that took us 20 months to achieve.
Fiction 2: Most POA board members are not qualified to hold office and are acting illegally.
Fact: All current Board members were properly elected by the property owners at the annual meeting. Not paying fees to a non-existent, non-functioning Voluntary Assessment Program is not a disqualification. It's also not a disqualification to refuse to pay into a license program created by contradictory deed restrictions that no longer exist. With over 100 easements already in place when Hyde started it, the license program has never fulfilled its obligations and had no chance of succeeding.
Additional fact: The last three Boards have spent tens of thousands of dollars of their personal funds and thousands of hours to get where we are today. They have all paid their current assessments, and in some cases, up to five years in advance.
Fiction 3: Property owners can exclude their property from deed restrictions under the authority of Texas Property Code § 201.009.
Fact: This Chapter doesn't even apply. It applies to certain residential real estate subdivisions, not Northwest Regional Airport.
Fiction 4: Property owner James Kirksey endorses Hyde's plan.
Fact: Click on the button below to see what Mr. Kirksey really has to say after he checked the facts.
