Aero Valley Airport - established in 1969 by Edna Gardner Whyte

Edna Gardner Whyte first soloed in 1928.

Acquiring property at Aero Valley Airport means you've acquired an important piece of American history.  In 1969, American aviation pioneer Edna Gardner Whyte bought 34 acres of land and started this airport.  She was 67 years old.  She built a 2200' runway and flight school with three aircraft.  Today, the airport includes about 120 acres of land with a 3500' runway and nearly 500 airplanes.

Runway 17/35 as of 1984 when the runway was last resurfaced. A totally new runway was constructed and completed in 2017.

Conveniently located less than a mile east of I35W off of Cross Timbers Rd. (FM1171).
